SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER, HOME BASED

BusinessBusStop.com is a new venture set up by two businessmen near Chester, who have recognised that the internet can be utilised by small and medium sized businesses to save money in many different areas, and because a lot of businesses fail to do this. BusinessBusStop.com is all about business services, and providing them to small businesses across the UK via one portal, www.businessbusstop.com.  Established in February 2010, we have all the sales & marketing systems in place together with a fully equipped virtual office.

In order to take the business forward, we are looking to invest in a sales & marketing manager prepared to join us at this stage and do just about everything, from cold calling, email marketing, guerilla marketing, sales via telephone, post and email, conferences and exhibitions, etc.. etc..

We are looking for someone with drive, passion, commitment and any other adjectives you can think of. We would welcome an application from someone who has graduated in the past few years and who wants an employer to give them a chance. As we grow we want the manager to take control of a team and build it up.

The following are the requirements.

1. A willingness to work from home. At present everyone in the company works on a virtual platform. Our systems are accessible via the web, and you will need to have broadband. It is anticipated that a BusinessBusStop office will open later in the Summer either in Flintshire or Cheshire.

2. A consistent academic record, including if possible a degree at 2.1 or 2.2.

3. Location – somewhere within reach of Chester/Mold for meetings with the Board.

4. Personal qualities demonstrated by evidence. These need to be:

  • Drive
  • Innovation

  • Enthusiasm
  • Self-Confidence
  • Sales Ability
  • Marketing Initiative
  • Flexibility

Hours: Flexible. We ideally would like someone able to commit to between 20-30 hours per week minimum, if not full time 37.5 hours.

Length: Permanent, but with a 3 month probation period.

Daily Activities: Everything. Telesales, Direct Sales, Email Marketing Campaigns, Internet Promotion, Negotiation, Promotions, Offline Marketing and just about everything else we can think of to generate business and get our company moving forwards very quickly.

Package: We hope to offer a competitive hourly rate topped up by a bonus structure. This will be discussed individually with the successful applicant, but we anticipate the basic rate to start with being £14-£19,000, plus an achievable bonus of up to 75%.

Start Date: asap.

We are always on the lookout for the following:

  • Sales Executives – with drive, enthusiasm and proven results for IT services, low cost recruitment, SEO & marketing, accounting and professional services, and web hosting.
  • Administrative and Support Assistants – Full Time, 9-5.30pm, 37.5 hour week.
  • Sales Manager – to handle our expanding sales team responsively and create the right atmosphere in our offices.
